Flood Report 2019

The Assam Flood has devastated a lot of people in a lot of areas, leaving many homeless and displaced. Human Welfare Foundation, in partnership with Society for Bright Future and Ideal Relief Wing Kerala volunteers, under Vision 2026 have been working around the clock to assist the people in the most affected areas. A total of 6 districts were covered by the volunteers, namely Dhubri, Barpeta, Darrang, Boingaon, Nalbari and Tejpur, where a total of 30 places were covered. 
A total of 200 families, 1000 in full, were rescued by the volunteers, and foods were given to another 3000 families, 15000 in total. Tarpaulins were also provided to a 1000 families that were in need of it, 5000 in total. 
Medical aid camps were also provided, where 2000 families, 10000 members in total, were treated and given medications. 
In all, a total of 6200 families, 31,000 people in total, benefited from the services provided under Vision 2026.
