Weekly Report : Flood Relief Work at Assam and Bihar (as of 18th July, 2019)

Following the devestating floods in Assam and Bihar, a lot of people were severly affected and suffering from several serious flood related issues. All the displaced and at risk flood victims were taken to relief camps by SBF volunteers. The total number of camps are 300, with over 2400 pople staying there.
The team has also cleaned a school in Dhariyakhaity, Darrang district, as well as providing flood relief kits and resources around, all the while assessing the situation.
SBF and it's partners Vision and HWF now plan to distribute more resources, especially food as the most needed thing at present is food. We also plan to conduct medical camps as there will be a need to keep in check all the diseases that will inevitably spread after the flood.
