Riot torched Shahid’s house, Vision 2026 restores it plus offers a living

New Delhi (12/08/2020)

Vision 2026 continues its support to the families who were victimized by the devastating Delhi riots happened in February 2020.  Hundreds of families were lost everything that they acquired after years of struggle and hard work. Their belongings were looted, houses were set aflame, shops were burnt, vehicles were blown up. Shahid and Mujahid share this same story of misery and gloom.

These two brothers were living in Khajuri Khas with their family in a small two-story house which was a result of their ceaseless efforts and troubles they put to build a decent life. But everything turned upside down overnight. Rioters burgled their house and set it on fire. Completely broken by this incident, both went to a state of hopelessness. Here, Vision came forward and helped them rebuild the entire house as part of its rehabilitation' project.

On July 29, office bearers of Vision handed over the renovated house to the family. Apart from this, Vision also provided them a means for living by offering an e-rickshaw. So far, Vision has completed reconstruction/renovation of 7 houses and 5 shops and handed over to the beneficiaries. More 45+ construction projects are in the pipeline.
