Afzal Hussain Block of The Scholar School has been inaugurated
The Scholar School celebrated its 7th Annual Function with a tremendous celebration including a series of cultural programmes prepared with exceptional effort and perfection on Sunday,17 December 2017 along with the inauguration ceremony of the “Afzal Husain Block” of the school.
The chief guest on this occasion was Prof. waseem Ahmad Khan from IASE, Jamia Millia Islamia University and the program was presided by Prof. Manzoor Ahmad (Retd. IPS and Ex. Vice chancellor Agra University)- Chairman Human Welfare Foundation. The trustees of HWF, Mr. T. Arif Ali- General Secretary, Mr. Mammunni Maulvi- Manager TSS and Mr. Rafeek Ahmad were also present on the occasion.
The principal, Ms Mahpara Jan welcomed the eminent guests and delivered the welcome speech and also presented the school’s annual report in which highlighted the performance of the students in academic as well as extracurricular activities.
The program began with recitation of The Quran’s verses to seek the blessings of the almighty Allah. All the programs of Annual day not only entertained the audience by humorous Mushaira, Qawwali and different actions songs performed by Pre-Primary section but at the same time programs covered and depicted the socio-political issues and Islamic values through street play on cleanliness, skit on Save Trees Save Life, Mime on Selfie, Students’ presentation on The last sermon of Prophet (SAW) etc. All the students displayed their fabulous performance.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Waseem Ahmad Khan congratulated the school for taking such an edifying topic which requires a quick moral action on everybody’s part. He emphasized on the quality education and wished for the bright and better future of the students through The Scholar School. He also appreciated the efforts of all the participants, teachers, and administration of the school.
Sponsor of the “Afzal Husain Block” Mr. Mustafa M. from Kerala, appreciated the performance of the children and applauded the achievements of the students of the school.
General Secretary HWF, Mr. T. Arif Ali delivered an impressive speech and enlightens the VISION 2026, its achievements and also expressed his satisfaction over functioning of the School leadership.
In his presidential address Professor Manzoor Ahmad focused that the objective and the aim of imparting education in The Scholar School is to prepare successful human beings both in this life & the hereafter.
Members of the school management committee such as Mr. PK Nofel-CEO HWF, Mr. Salimullah Khan- Education Manager HWF, Mr. Javed Ali, Mr. Javed Iqbal- Hon. Secretary, TSS and a gathering of approx. 700 people were present in this program.
The program was managed by Administrator of the school, Qazi Muhammad Miyan and was conducted by Ms. Saima Akhtar. Finally the program was concluded by thankful notation of Vice- Principal, Ms. Hira Irfan.
