TWEET Inaugurates Skill Development Centre in Aligarh

In a move to capacitate and empower girls and women around Aligarh city, TWEET inaugurated a Skill Development Centre at Siraj-ul-Uloom, Girls College, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

Named as Falah-e-Aam Sewing Centre, it was formally inaugurated by Rahamathunnissa, Chairperson- TWEET in the presence of Shaista Rafat, General Secretary, and Dr Sharnas Muthu, Treasurer.

Around 45 women have already been enrolled who are being imparted training in Tailoring & stitching trade. These beneficiaries would be skilled to enable them initiate their tailoring work and also to connect them with market in order to empower them economically.
