Under the ambitious plan ‘Vision 2026’ 17 water projects installed in the month of January 2020
Water quality has also become a major issue. Over the past ten years, the number of communities affected by water quality problems has risen, and solutions are proving to be increasingly complex. Harmful substances such as arsenic, fluoride and even uranium are found in the groundwater in some areas and people of most areas in India used to have to fetch clean water from the borewell 2km to 4km away from their home.
Human welfare foundation trying to overcome all these problems by installing 17 water projects (4 Hand Pumps, 10 Submersibles) in Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Bihar & Haryana.
The quality of water in these 14 implemented areas was extremely poor and we suffered from stomach-related ailments. But now that we provided clean water, ailments like diarrhea have reduced gradually. Women no longer have to spend hours collecting water. The water also tastes much better.
