Vision 2026 hands over 5 shops, 2 houses, 1 E-Loader & 2 vegetable carts to the victim families of Delhi Violence

Delhi (31/08/2020): The Delhi riots had left thousands of families devastated, with their houses and businesses completely destroyed.  Vision 2026 is working to rehabilitate these riot victims.

In this context, 5 shops, 2 houses, 1 E-Loader & 2 vegetable carts were inaugurated by a delegation on 31st August 2020.  The delegation was led by Mr. Shafi Madni, Secretary, JIH along with Zahid Hussain, Mohammed Saqib, Abdul Kareem, Momin Ali and Md Imran Ansari from the Vision 2026 team. Along with this, scholarship (Education Support) has also been given to 9 riot-affected students for studies.

Vision 2026 has helped Aleem to open a seat cover shop in Shiv Vihar area, with machines installed by the Vision team to be given to Aleem. Simultaneously, Ali Hassan, a resident of Shiv Vihar, was provided with wood which he supplies in the bakery factories. Khaliq Ahmed of Shiv Vihar area, who works in making sewing machines, has been reopened to his shop.

The house of Meena Devi living in Khajuri Khas has also been repaired by Vision 2026. Mohammed Vakil, whose house was completely destroyed in the riots, has also reconstructed by the Vision.

Naushad and 2 partners named Zubair used to run a paper bag making factory in Ambika Vihar, but their entire factory was destroyed in the riots. Now their factory has been repaired by Vision team. Raisuddin, who used to haul goods, has been given an e-loader by Vision 2026.

Apart from this, Shahid and Shahnawaz, who belong to Shiv Vihar, were given vegetable carts. Shahzad Khan has also been opened a barber shop in Mustafabad.

Vision 2026 has been working since the first day to rehabilitate the families of the riot victims, whether it is to rebuild the devastated houses of the victims or to restart their ruined businesses.
