‘Vision 2026’ Turns Dream of Hotepara for Safe Drinking Water into Reality

Human Welfare Foundation-HWF, right from its inception, is leading the way among non-governmental organizations of the country in tackling drinking water crisis. While rural areas of the country are facing acute shortage of pure drinking water, HWF has been paying special attention to address this problem. In the last 15 years, under 'Vision 2026' project, the foundation and its partner organisations have installed more than 2500 hand pumps, submersible and open wells in the remote villages of the country where people had to walk kilometres for clean water.

One such village is Hotepara which is situated in Ghumani, Sahebganj, Jharkhand. 70-80 families in the village were in utmost suffer due to grave scarcity of drinking water. Human Welfare Foundation installed a bore well (with tank) there with generous support of well-wishers. Now, the village which once struggled hard for pure water is all smiles. Join us, let’s make this world more happier.
