Vision Accomplishes its Promise, Chand’s Family Gets a living

New Delhi (29/07/2020):

‘Vision 2026' accomplishes its promise to Chand Muhammad’s family of livelihood support by helping Chand and his brother open a fully stocked and furnished fancy shop in Lal Quater Krishna Nagar, North East Delhi. T. Arif Ali, General Secretary, Human Welfare Foundation, inaugurated the shop on 29 July. Chand Muhammad, belonging to Seelampur in Northeast Delhi, was reported handling bodies of those dying of coronavirus for mother’s medicines and siblings’ school fees.

Earlier, Vision had extended its support to the family by assuring full financial aid for Chand and his sisters’ education and mother’s treatment. Chand has four sisters Rafia (18), Muskan (16), Sadaf (14) and Mehad (11) among them later three are in school. His mother suffers from a thyroid disorder.

Chand Muhammad discontinued schooling in 2017 due to financial crisis and worked as Nursing Assistant in a private hospital. Hit hard by Covid-19 lockdowns, to find money for family’s living, siblings’ education, and mother’s treatment, he joined a company that deployed him as a sweeper at Lok Nayak Hospital. The job required him to handle bodies of those dying of coronavirus. Chand quit this job after Vision guaranteed him and his family full support for livelihood.
